After two cancelled editions due to the health situation, the GAFA SPOGA made its comeback in 2022 and EDA was present for the occasion.

With a brand new 360m² area, we were at the rendezvous, for the biggest international fair dedicated to the garden! With more than 1,000 exhibitors, spread over 215,000 m² of exhibition space and nearly 25,000 visitors from more than 100 countries, the SPOGA GAFA is the must-attend event of the profession!

From June 19th to 21st, we were able to present our collections and novelties to the different visitors. The show was also an opportunity to introduce our new brand “Pot&Deco by EDA” to our customers and prospects

Committed to the respect of the environment and anxious to show this commitment in each product innovation, EDA has recently obtained the PEFC label for its Jura Montania range.

Jura Montania is a range of storage for wood pellets: bags, shovels, pellet boxes, so many essential accessories to have near your pellet stove! With several new references for winter 2022-2023, the range includes three pellet boxes with wooden covers.

The bodies of these pellet boxes are made from recycled raw materials and now the spruce lids are PEFC certified.

What is the PEFC label?

Only products from PEFC certified forests followed by an uninterrupted manufacturing and marketing chain of certified companies can carry the PEFC label.

Affixed to a wood or wood-based product, the PEFC label certifies :

• that the forest owner who grew the wood and the logger who harvested and transported the wood have implemented PEFC sustainable forest management practices;
• that all the companies which then transformed and marketed this wood applied the PEFC traceability rules.

The PEFC label guarantees the consumer that the product he buys comes from responsible sources and that through his purchase, he participates in the sustainable management of forests. Managing a forest sustainably means taking into account its environmental, societal and economic dimensions. A mission that PEFC accomplishes every day as guardian of the forest balance.

On the night of October 11, 2002, a violent fire devastated more than 6,000 m² of our storage warehouse, in the heart of our Oyonnax site. A terrible ordeal for EDA and its collaborators faced with the considerable damage …

Thanks to the work of the firemen, who took more than 20 hours to contain the fire, the industrial tool could be saved.
The solidarity of the employees and the Oyonnaxian basin allowed us to continue the adventure. A big thank you to all the actors who worked 20 years ago and to our customers for their understanding, all have allowed us to continue our activity!

On October 19th, we had the pleasure of welcoming Pierre SORLIER (Direction Générale des Entreprises), Jérémy TRAMECON (DREETS), Oscar SIMON (Direction Générale des Entreprises), Etienne BECHET DE BALAN (IPC) and Luc UYTTERHAEGHE (IPC) to our Oyonnax site.

This visit of our showroom and production site was an opportunity to present our know-how and our products ranges.

Diffrents themes with strategic stakes were addressed, in particular the need for and difficulties in supplying recycled plastics. In the same way, the the new contributions of the issuers on the market within the framework of the law AGEC (Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy) were in the middle of the exchanges.
